We are committed to creating meaningful change for children and families affected by autism, and we are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who shares that passion.In this role, you will be the go-to person to support our teams across multiple markets. From onboarding and employee engagement to compliance and employee relations, you will provide personalized HR support that strengthens our people operations and connects employees to our mission.This position is based On-Site in our Deerfield Beach, Florida office and reports to the Manager of Human Resources.Our families deserve the best, and that is why we hire the best. This role requires someone who is both analytical and tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and motivated to improve the way we use data and systems to support our people.What Would You Be Doing?As an HR Generalist, you will serve as the dedicated HR contact for employees in assigned regions, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met. Under the guidance of the HR Manager and HR Director, you will:Serve as the HR contact for designated markets, allowing for personalized support.Handle day-to-day employee relations matters (conflict resolution warrior), policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, separations, and minor grievances.Support the performance review process, ensuring timely completion and assisting managers as needed.Partner with the HR Director to design and implement employee engagement activities across all markets.Act as a culture champion within your assigned regions, ensuring employees feel supported and connected.Maintain and update the HR manual and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.Assist with headquarters onboarding for corporate and BCBA hires, including new hire orientation, seating charts, and FOB access.Assist with employment verifications (VOEs) and compliance documentation (e.g., labor law posters, audit support).Why Work at Butterfly Effects?Be part of a mission-driven organization improving the lives of children and families affected by autism.Gain broad HR experience across employee relations, engagement, compliance, and onboarding.Build strong relationships with employees across multiple states and regions.Work with a collaborative HR team that values growth, development, and teamwork.What Do You Bring to the Role?Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience with HR systems such as Rippling, UKG, or comparable platforms is a plus.Who Are We?Butterfly Effects has served more than 14,000 families since our inception in 2005.
