Human Resources Generalist

Location: Denver, CO Area (Onsite)Salary: $80,000–$95,000 DOE

About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join a well-established manufacturing organization in the Denver area. This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting approximately 125–150 employees at a single manufacturing facility.

What You'll Do

As the HR Generalist, you'll play a key role in supporting the entire employee lifecycle, including:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors
  • Support employee relations and coach managers on HR policies and best practices
  • Coordinate recruiting, interviews, hiring, onboarding, and new hire orientation
  • Assist with payroll processing, audits, pay changes, and HRIS updates
  • Administer employee benefits and support Open Enrollment
  • Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and state leave programs
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes
  • Monitor attendance, maintain employee records, and ensure HR compliance
  • Maintain employee data within the HRIS and support reporting and audits
  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and daily HR operations

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
  • Experience supporting payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, and leave administration
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
  • Experience working with an HRIS (Paycom or similar platform preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Union or Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) experience is a plus
