Human Resources Generalist

Location: North Metro Atlanta, GA (On-Site)
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 + Bonus

Staff Financial Group is recruiting for a confidential client seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a growing organization. This opportunity is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and partnering with leadership to support employees across multiple departments.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will support day-to-day HR operations and employee engagement initiatives while serving as a trusted resource for employees and management. The successful candidate will have experience managing employee relations matters, maintaining compliance, supporting HR programs, and handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters

Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate resolutions

Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Support performance management initiatives and employee development programs

Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce-related analysis

Assist with workforce planning and organizational development initiatives

Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Support employee engagement and retention efforts

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

3–5 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience

Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and employee relations

Experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving employee concerns

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification

Experience supporting multi-location operations

Experience within construction, service, manufacturing, or field-service organizations

Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS platforms

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $70,000 - $75,000
