Human Resources Generalist – Employee Relations
Temporary Opportunity in Wethersfield, CT

In partnership with a longstanding client, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in employee relations to support a collaborative HR team on a temporary basis. This role will serve as a key point of contact for employees and leadership while managing sensitive employee relations matters and supporting broader HR functions as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related questions and concerns
  • Manage employee relations matters from intake through resolution, including investigations, interviews, documentation, and collaboration with leadership
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and employee files
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Support additional HR functions including benefits inquiries, onboarding, talent acquisition support, and general HR administration
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to promote positive employee relations and consistent HR practices

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience required
  • Hands-on employee relations experience including investigations and conflict resolution
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems preferred
