| Job Description: | The HR Generalist I provides transactional and operational HR support to the Graduate Programs Center of Expertise (COE) within the College of Medicine Human Resources Office. The position serves as a point of contact for College HR Department Partners, the Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Office of Graduate Education (OGE), and supports onboarding, employment transactions, compliance activities, employment and training verifications, and other HR operations at the college level. The HR Generalist I works closely with the Manager of the Graduate Programs COE and other COM-HR teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of HR activities while providing responsive and professional customer service. The position ensures compliance with established policies, procedures, and checklists, assists department partners with resolving and/or appropriately escalating complex issues.
