About the Position
This is a time limited position. The Mississippi State Department of Health is seeking a Human Resources Generalist II to support agency-wide human resources operations. This position is responsible for administering and processing contract worker agreements, ensuring compliance with state laws, regulations, and MSDH policies. The incumbent will serve as a primary resource for contract-related matters, providing guidance and technical assistance to agency programs, offices, and districts. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing contract worker agreements, coordinating contract renewals, amendments, and terminations, maintaining contract records, and processing contract worker actions in MAGIC EC.

Good communication skills. possess strong math skills to effectively manage and analyze contract-related data. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret policies, manage multiple priorities, and ensure accurate and timely processing of contract-related transactions.
