About the Position
This position will be responsible for transactional processing which include being accountable for duties in agency human resources programs, policies, and procedures related to recruitment and selection, classification, salary analysis, benefits, appointments, performance evaluations, posting job announcements, maintaining organization charts for Community Correction and ensure that work is done in compliance with federal and state laws.
What youll need to be Successful
Knowledge of Human Resources administration. Excellent communication skills essential to coordinating daily HR functions. The ability to adapt quickly, be courteous, and maintain strict confidentiality. Excellent computer skills, and efficient use of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary to successfully perform in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience. Agency preferred qualifications: Working knowledge and experience utilizing MAGIC (SUCCESS FACTORS), SPAHRS, and KRONOS timekeeping preferred.

Paid Personal Leave and Sick Leave
Full-time employees receive paid time off for personal needs and for sick leave. Leave begins accruing after one month of employment and may be used as it is accrued. Employees earn approximately 18 days of personal leave annually and 12 days of sick leave annually.

In accordance with federal law, all employees serving in the armed forces or the military reserves are entitled to 15 days per year for military training.
