    Arkansas Talent Group is seeking an organized, personable, and service-minded Temporary HR Generalist to join the Human Resources team of a large, established insurance company in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This temporary opportunity is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being a trusted day-to-day resource for employees and can step in quickly to provide dependable support across HR administration, employee communication, recruiting, benefits, and engagement initiatives.

    The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in human resources operations, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional, confidential environment. This individual will support the HR team during a temporary assignment while ensuring employee records, communications, benefits processes, and company events are handled efficiently and accurately.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as a responsive first point of contact for employee HR-related questions and routine requests.
    • Monitor, organize, prioritize, and respond to the shared HR email inbox in a timely and professional manner.
    • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date employee files; perform regular audits to ensure all required documentation is properly retained.
    • Support day-to-day human resources administration, including employee records, personnel changes, documentation, and general HR coordination.
    • Assist employees with general questions related to FMLA and other leave-related processes, escalating matters as appropriate.
    • Provide administrative support for annual benefits open enrollment, including employee communications, enrollment materials, follow-up, and recordkeeping.
    • Utilize Paycor or a comparable HRIS to maintain employee information, support data integrity, and assist with routine HR transactions and reporting.
    • Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to support recruiting efforts, including posting positions, reviewing applicants, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and coordinating onboarding activities.
    • Assist with new-hire onboarding to create a welcoming, organized, and compliant employee experience.
    • Help plan and coordinate company holiday events and other employee-engagement activities, managing logistics, communication, vendors, timelines, and internal coordination.
    • Handle sensitive employee and company information with discretion, sound judgment, and a high level of confidentiality.
    • Support additional HR projects and priorities throughout the temporary assignment as business needs evolve.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant HR experience will be considered.
    • Prior experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, Recruiting Coordinator, or similar human resources support role.
    • Experience using Paycor is preferred; experience with another HRIS platform is strongly valued.
    • Familiarity with employee-file maintenance, HR documentation, benefits administration, and open-enrollment support.
    • Exposure to FMLA administration or the ability to confidently respond to common employee leave questions while following established company procedures.
    • Recruiting experience is highly preferred, including applicant communication, interview scheduling, candidate coordination, and onboarding support.
    • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and detailed administrative processes.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a polished and employee-focused approach.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
    • High level of professionalism, discretion, dependability, and customer-service orientation.
    • Ability to begin a temporary assignment promptly and contribute effectively in a fast-paced HR environment.
