JOB OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Generalist operates within Nammo's U.S. Shared Services organization supporting HR functions across all U.S. legal entities within the Nammo Group. This role is designed for a motivated HR professional who will serve as the internal subject matter expert for benefits, 401k administration and compliance support. We are a small, effective team seeking a new member who brings a positive attitude and a proactive spirit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the Company benefit program including general administration; invoice management; assisting sites with issues and utilization of the plan
• Provide guidance to employees on benefit programs and assist with open enrollment activities
• Oversee the Disability & FMLA programs serving as the subject matter expert for complex issues and oversight
• Administer the Company 401k plan including plan audits
• Assist with the administration of the Nammo Internship program
• Partner with all Nammo sites on policies, procedures, and programs
• Manage and promote the Company Wellness program
• Support organizational development initiatives, performance management, training & development and employee engagement
• Provide leadership and guidance to employees and work closely with the Shared Services HR Director to ensure consistency with the execution of HR policies, programs, and procedures
• Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Assist with recruitment across organization including on-boarding activities, as requested
• Working knowledge of workers compensation and OSHA – provide guidance and support to NDS sites
• Visit other plant locations to maintain visibility across the US
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Human resources, business or other related field
• 3+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• SHRM or PHR certification preferred
• Experience supporting both manufacturing and office-based workforces
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills both verbal and non-verbal are extremely important for this role
