A growing IT company near Douglasville, PA is seeking a motivated and people-focused HR Generalist to join its Human Resources team. In this role, you will serve as a day-to-dayresource for employees and managers across the organization, supporting a broad range of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR programs run smoothly in a fast-moving technology environment.

This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety in their work and is comfortable switching between strategic partnership and hands-on execution. You will collaborate closely with department managers, finance, and leadership to support the full employee lifecycle — from offer letter to offboarding. The ideal candidate brings solid generalist experience, a working knowledge of employment law, and the interpersonal skills to build trust across all levels of the organization.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar broad HR role
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania state employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, PWPCL)
  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer management
  • Familiarity with benefits administration practices including open enrollment, carrier coordination, and employee inquiries
  • Strong employee relations skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in an HRIS platform
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience working in an IT, technology, or professional services environment
  • Exposure to performance management processes, including goal-setting frameworks and review cycles
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, or similar) and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, BambooHR)
  • Experience supporting managers through coaching, documentation, and disciplinary processes
  • Knowledge of compensation benchmarking practices and salary banding

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification (or active pursuit)
What You Will Be Doing
  • Supporting full-cycle recruiting efforts including job description creation, posting, screening, interview scheduling, offer letters, and pre-employment processes
  • Managing new hire onboarding from offer acceptance through first-day orientation and 30/60/90-day check-ins
  • Serving as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, payroll, and HR programs
  • Administering employee benefits programs, supporting open enrollment, and liaising with brokers and carriers to resolve issues
  • Supporting employee relations matters including documentation, investigations, performance improvement plans, and terminations
  • Maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with recordkeeping requirements
  • Partnering with managers to support the annual performance review process and ongoing feedback initiatives
  • Ensuring organizational compliance with federal and state labor laws, including posting requirements, I-9 maintenance, and policy updates
  • Assisting in the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and the employee handbook
  • Contributing to HR reporting and people analytics including headcount, turnover, and time-to-fill metrics
  • Supporting HR projects and initiatives such as engagement surveys, culture programs, and process improvements
