We are partnering with a strong manufacturing organization in Spring Green, WI to staff a Human Resources Generalist position to support day-to-day HR operations and partner with leadership on key employee-related initiatives. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and management while helping to ensure compliance, employee engagement, and operational effectiveness across the facility. The Human Resources Generalist will be involved in a broad range of HR functions, including employee relations, payroll/timekeeping, benefits administration, performance management, policy administration, talent acquisition, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate is a highly organized HR professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. This is a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite position that offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
- Support the administration and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with business objectives - Partner with leadership on employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, employee development, and engagement initiatives - Assist Recruiter with recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for open positions - Administer leave programs, including FMLA and short-term disability, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations - Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll and maintain employee timekeeping records - Manage employee data within the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality - Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR-related matters - Assist in planning and coordinating employee events, recognition programs, and engagement activities - Maintain knowledge of current HR best practices and employment regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field - 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment - HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR a plus - Experience with timekeeping/payroll processing required - Understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to build positive relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
