SUMMARY: Serve as the Substitute Coordinator for the District, overseeing all substitute teacher functions, and provide support within the Human Resources Department.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are examples of duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to such activities, and may change at any time with or without notice.

  • Recruitment of all substitute teachers.
  • Maintain employee records and handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality, discretion, professionalism, and accuracy.
  • Assist in New Hire onboarding and processing to ensure completion of required documents in WorkBright.
  • Willingness to be cross trained and to serve as a backup to co-workers in the HR department.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, departments, and the public.
  • A high level of customer service and confidentiality is required in this position.
  • Reconciliation of sub usage and teacher time off through sub tracking.
  • Onboard coaches and event workers.
  • Review and maintain staff DPI licenses.
  • Manage the automated substitute placement system for employees and substitutes.
  • Work with all schools in managing distribution of substitutes.
  • Frontline Administrator.
  • Maintain HRIS database for all substitutes.
  • Assist in maintaining personnel records.
  • Support in planning and execution of annual recognition events.
  • Clerical backup for Human Resources Office.
  • Other duties as assigned.
