Job Description
SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of HR Operations and HCM, the Human Resources HCM Coordinator is responsible for providing ongoing support with existing Workday processes and assists in solving technical problems, as well as work on continual process improvements.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and approve required HCM transactions, including but not limited to onboarding, terminations, job changes, corrections, visa/work authorizations and personal information changes.
Ensure data is accurately processed and maintained in accordance with established policies, procedures, and applicable contractual provisions.
Partner with HCM analyst to streamline Workday approvals.
Develop Workday job aides, workflows, and provide training to end users.
Perform weekly audits to ensure data integrity.
Serve as a liaison between IT’s first-level Workday Customer Care Group, Human Resources, University-wide units, and end-users to provide troubleshooting and solutions to address their business needs.
Manage ServiceNow (“SNOW”) tickets, emails and phone calls related to Workday HCM as a Tier-2 Customer Care liaison.
Prepare clear, accurate and informative reports containing findings, conclusions and recommendations.
Attend and participate in meetings and events.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with HRIS systems, such as Workday.
Superior organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage shifting priorities and workflow.
Excellent Microsoft Office experience, particularly with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s) and PowerPoint.
PREFERRED:
Higher education experience, specifically in Human Resources
Experience with Workday HCM.
Data management and analysis experience.
Excellent customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
