Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate HR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of management experience, with a strong focus on Human Resources and employee relations. This role requires a proactive and organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for improving the lives of employees and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Human Resource Management:

    • Oversee and manage all aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with state regulations and best care practices.
    • Serve as a resource for employees and leadership, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Maintain a strong understanding of state regulations and ensure the organization adheres to all HR-related laws and standards.
    • Develop and implement best care practices to support the success of the health services teams.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving:

    • Ask thought-provoking questions and listen actively to employees and management to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
    • Communicate actionable next steps that inspire urgency and confidence within teams.
  • Training and Development:

    • Provide coaching and training to team members to support personal and professional growth.
    • Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement by encouraging employees to exceed personal bests.
  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Maintain accurate and professional documentation of employee records, policies, and other HR-related materials.
    • Ensure all HR processes are well-organized and efficient.
  • Travel:

    • Be available to travel within the southeast Idaho service area (Pocatello, Idaho Falls, etc.) as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of management experience (Human Resources and employee relations preferred).
  • Strong understanding of HR management, state regulations, and best care practices.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally when needed.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in relevant HR software and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to document professionally and legibly.
  • Physically able to perform job duties (e.g., sitting or standing for extended periods).
  • Curiosity, energy, positivity, and persistence to take on challenges.
  • Passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of others and their families.
  • Ability to ask thoughtful questions, actively listen, and effectively communicate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of employee training and development programs.
  • Experience in the healthcare or social services industry is a plus.
