Our programming serves more than 900,000 participants annually at the Museum, at the Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center, and at the 270+ outreach locations across Greater Houston. Job Summary
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR department with records management and digital file organization initiatives. This temporary paid internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in HR operations and confidential records management.
The primary focus of this role will be assisting with the transition of physical employee records into the organization's digital filing system. The intern will work with both active and terminated employee files and must maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
This internship is intended to support a temporary organizational project and is anticipated to last approximately 3-6 months depending on departmental needs and project progress.
