\nMust Haves:
\n• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
\n• 3 to 4 years of HRLR experience.
\n• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, employee relations, and workplace practices.
\n• Experience supporting talent management, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership development initiatives.
\n• Demonstrated labor relations experience, preferably working with the UAW in a manufacturing environment.
\n• Proven experience partnering with leaders and employees in a unionized manufacturing setting.
\n• Excellent coaching, consulting, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
\n• Ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and work effectively across all levels of the organization.
\n• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
\n• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
\nNice-to-Have:
\nHands-on shop floor experience
\nExperience participating in or supporting collective bargaining and contract negotiations.
\nTop 3 must-have hard skills
\n1-Labor relations and contract administration — Strong ability to interpret and apply national/local agreements, manage grievances, support shop committee discussions, and work effectively with union representatives.
\n2-Employee relations and investigations — Experience handling hourly employee concerns, workplace investigations, discipline, performance matters, and risk-sensitive situations with sound judgment and documentation.
\n3-Manufacturing HR operations and workforce systems — Familiarity with hourly workforce processes such as timekeeping, attendance, manpower planning, onboarding, Workday/Kronos, HR metrics, and reporting. Candidate Review
