Human Resources Manager


Overview
A well-established organization in the agriculture industry is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and enhance its human resources function. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving HR strategy, supporting operations, and building a strong foundation for long-term workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities for the Human Resources Manager:



  • Lead all core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, benefits, and performance management

  • Partner with leadership to support business objectives and workforce planning initiatives

  • Develop and implement succession planning strategies to ensure continuity in key roles

  • Oversee recruitment efforts, onboarding, and retention strategies in a competitive labor market

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

  • Drive HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization

  • Support leadership development and foster a positive, productive workplace culture


Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Manager:



  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance

  • Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or a related industry preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required

  • Proven ability to partner with leadership and influence decision-making

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills


Compensation
$120,000 – $150,000 base salary plus bonus potential
