As a Human Resources Manager at the Detroit Assembly Complex, you will play a key role in our ability to deliver what we promise to our customers.
You will drive all aspects that lead to a positive culture at the Complex, an engaged and capable workforce, and efficient operations by:
Collaborating with Site leadership to drive culture and organizational development initiatives across multiple Sites
Partnering with the Site managers to ensure operational excellence within the Complex, supporting the vision and goals of the organization
Coaching and supporting Site leadership on all HR processes and activities
Leading the Complex HR team in all HR processes and activities
Coaching and developing the Complex HR team, supporting their continued career growth
Developing relationships with the organizations and key figures within the community in which the Complex is located
Ensuring compliance with various local and federal regulations, as well as company and Complex policies, practices and agreements

Execution of lean manufacturing processes around employee development and training, driving continuous improvement, to increase efficiency and productivity

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in human resources or a related field
3 years of experience leading others in a manufacturing environment
Able to coach and develop teams
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Law.
Demonstrated experience with Workday HR systems
Experience supporting operations in dynamic environments, including new product launches
Experience applying lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
