Growing Trees INC is seeking a Human Resources Manager in Los Angeles County, CA

The Human Resources Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of human resources functions for Growing Trees Inc., a language academy providing English and foreign language instruction to students. The worker will ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and implement best practices in recruitment, training, employee relations, and benefits administration. 1. Overall HR Strategy: Develop and implement the company’s overall human resources strategy to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Drive workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning to ensure the right people are in the right roles. Provide strategic advice to senior management on HR policies, organizational structure design, and corporate culture development. 2. Recruitment and Talent Development: Oversee talent recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain high-potential employees. Lead employee development programs, performance management systems, and leadership training initiatives. Ensure the establishment and implementation of effective career development paths and professional growth mechanisms. Maintain employee records, ensure accurate HR documentation, and manage confidential personnel files. 3. Employee Relations and Experience: Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment. Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational change initiatives. Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall retention. Advise management on employee performance, disciplinary actions, and retention strategies. 4. Compensation, Benefits, and Compliance Management: Plan and oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with corporate objectives. Administer payroll, track work hours, manage employee leave, and coordinate benefits enrollment, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid leave programs. Ensure compliance with all labor laws, tax regulations, and HR-related statutory requirements. Monitor key HR metrics, identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. 5. Organizational Culture and Communication: Promote a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance organizational culture. Communicate HR policies, strategic initiatives, and organizational changes across all levels of the company. Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and programs. 6. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze HR metrics such as employee retention,turnover, engagement, and satisfaction scores. Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment, training, and development programs. Recommend improvements based on data analysis to support organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction. Working Conditions: Primarily an office environment within the Mandarin language. May require occasional evening or weekend work to attend staff meetings, training, or recruitment events.
