Under the supervision of the Solicitor and Deputy Solicitors, manages the human resources functions of the 13th Circuit Solicitor"s Office. Provides guidance to supervisors and employees on personnel policies, procedures, and employment-related matters. Advises management on employee relations issues and disciplinary actions and makes recommendations regarding corrective and disciplinary measures. Posts job openings, interviews candidates, and participates in the hiring process; assigns employee performance evaluations to department personnel and transmits completed evaluations to County Human Resources; assists with revising procedure manuals as appropriate. Processes documentation of personnel/payroll functions; logs staff vacations and sick leave; approves timesheets; reviews timesheets for accuracy and research discrepancies; maintains attendance records, confidential personnel/payroll files, employee rosters, and related records. Performs other related duties as required. Associate degree in administrative services, business, or related field; supplemented by (3) three years of experience providing administrative/clerical support in the area of Human Resources; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina Driver"s License.
