Transwest Mobile Truck Repair is a leading provider of mobile fleet maintenance and repair services, keeping commercial trucks on the road across multiple states. With a growing team of field technicians and support staff, we are committed to operational excellence and a people-first culture. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our Houston team and help drive our continued growth.

ROLE SUMMARY

Reporting to our HR Director, the HR Manager will serve as a key partner supporting both our Houston office and field service operations across multiple states. You will support a broad range of HR functions — from payroll and benefits administration to employee relations and compliance — while helping build scalable people processes in a fast-paced, field-service environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees across the organization

Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration using Paycom

Support recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding across multiple locations and states

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across a multistate footprint

Partner with the HR Director and leadership team on policy development, employee relations, and HR initiatives

Support field service teams and managers with day-to-day HR needs

Travel to field locations and other offices as needed (~20%)

QUALIFICATIONS

4–6 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in field service, trades, or a similarly dynamic environment

Hands-on experience with Paycom — REQUIRED

Demonstrated experience managing payroll and administering employee benefits

Background supporting a multistate organization with a distributed or field-based workforce

Comfortable with ~20% travel to support field locations

Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset

Bonus if you have:

HR certification (PHR, SHRM, or equivalent)

Bilingual in English and Spanish
