Qualifications/Requirements:
- Caring, committed attitude toward the senior care profession
- Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call staff rotation
- Willingness and ability to work 40 hours per week (working hours Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm)
- In-person position at our office in the Okatie/Ridgeland area
- Current, valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Ability to pass driver's history background check
- Ability to pass drug test
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Above all, the selected candidate must be a team player, willing to support and communicate daily with other staff
- Self-driven professional, capable of making independent decisions that reflect logic, reasoning and Company values
- Present a professional appearance daily, with consistent work ethic and timely arrivals to the workplace
- Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of human resources efforts, to include but not limited to, job postings, applicant screening, interviews, onboarding, credentialing, employee performance management functions
- Utilizes and supports HR Information Systems and employee/client records management
- Performs a variety of operational support to the Senior Helpers Team, including but not limited to, employee support and compliance roles
- Completes data entry in required home care software system
- Accountability for all new employee training, in-service training, certifications, hiring, recruitment, credentialing, performance management and recordkeeping
- Shares in and performs On-Call duties on behalf of the Company, which includes scheduling of Caregiver staff and all associated recordkeeping and data entry facets of the role
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous home care office experience strongly preferred
- 1+ years of Human Resources related work strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of office administration experience preferred
- 1-year scheduling experience in home care or related business sector preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Strong technical skills, including intermediate or above experience level in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong and effective time management
- Ability to manage and maintain confidential information and records
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive interaction with employees and customers
- Detail oriented with a strong skill set of communication and documentation of interactions with both clients and employees
- Identifies and implements innovative and creative solutions to resolve workforce challenges
- High school diploma with required professional experience and/or college coursework or Associates/Bachelors degree preferred
