Jennie Joiner with Forum Group PNW is conducting a search for an experienced bilingual English/Spanish Sr. HR Generalist / HR Manager to join a well-established organization in the Salem area. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who enjoys being both a strategic business partner and a hands-on HR leader. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, requiring someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves while partnering closely with leadership on HR initiatives and employee relations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and leadership.
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and Oregon employment law.
- Conduct workplace and employee relations investigations.
- Process weekly payroll through ADP Workforce Now by reviewing and approving timecards.
- Administer employee benefits, including new hire enrollments and annual open enrollment.
- Maintain I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
- Support workplace safety initiatives, OSHA documentation, and accident investigations.
- Promote employee engagement and help foster a positive workplace culture.
- Build strong relationships by maintaining a visible presence throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership on HR strategy while supporting day-to-day HR operations.
- Occasionally coordinate employee and customer events.
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
- Strong knowledge of Oregon employment laws and HR best practices.
- Broad Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Experience handling employee relations, investigations, and performance issues.
- Payroll experience (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
- Benefits administration experience.
- Experience with OSHA, safety programs, and compliance is preferred.
- A positive, approachable, "can-do" attitude.
- Someone who enjoys partnering with leadership while remaining accessible to employees.
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion.
Experience is valued more than formal education. A degree and/or HR certification is a plus but not required.

Schedule
- Monday-Friday, generally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Typical workweek is 40-45 hours, with very occasional weeks approaching 50 hours.
- 100% onsite position. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
