Our client, a premier non-profit, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager or Director to lead their people strategy. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, you will be a key member of the leadership team, shaping organizational culture and building scalable HR systems to support our mission of providing dignity and independence to underserved populations.

salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Serve as a key member of the leadership team, reporting to the President/CEO to align HR strategies with the organization's mission and long-term goals.
  • Culture & Inclusion: Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture by leading diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and enhancing employee engagement and retention.
  • Full-Cycle Talent Management: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment strategy, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and internal investigations.
  • Compliance & Policy: Develop and monitor personnel policies to ensure strict adherence to federal and state labor laws, including FMLA, ADA, and CT Paid Leave.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage the organization's compensation structure, benefit vendor relationships, and plan renewals to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Systems Oversight: Lead HRIS management, specifically overseeing the implementation of an ADP system rollout to ensure data integrity and inform strategic decisions.
