Human Resources Manager

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Education or Related discipline
  • Two (2) Years’ Experience in recruitment, training, teaching or related HR experience
  • Supervisory experience and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred

Responsibilities/Duties:

Administer human resource initiatives in support of the Head Start Act/National Head Start Performance Standards and the Mission, Vision, Core Principles and Core Values of Luzerne County Head Start.

Perform a wide range of personnel duties within a procedural framework set forth by the Human Resources and Business Office. Assists in staff recruitment, employee relations, training, employment and benefit administration.

Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Position will require record check approval of driving record by LCHS Insurance Provider, as this position is considered a designated position requiring driving as an essential job function. Proof of Degree/Certification and Experience Required to meet the Qualifications for position.

Salary/Annual: $45,574
Bilingual Adjustment in pay of 5% for English/Spanish language abilities

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus
