    Description

    Must-Haves:

    1. Bachelor of Science degree required.
    2. 2 years of experience in human resources in a hospital setting required (5 years preferred).
    3. Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations related to Human Resources, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Affirmative Action, ADA, FMLA.

    Nice-To-Haves:

    1. Master's Degree.
    2. Seven to ten years experience in the Human Resources field.
    3. Healthcare experience strongly preferred.

    Job Description: 

    Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Market Director to lead our team at Northern Alabama Medical Center and Shoals, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and oversight of all day-to-day operations within the human resources function, covering employee relations, employment, recruitment and retention, benefits, and workers compensation areas.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the HR leader for Northern Alabama Medical Center and Shoals, aligning processes and strategies with the parent health system, LifePoint Health.
    • Provide leadership and direction to ensure compliance with established objectives, quality outcomes, and cost-effective healthcare services.
    • Mentor staff and provide guidance to the HR leader over Shoals Medical Center.

    Supervisory Accountability:

    • Supervise human resources staff at multiple facilities.
    • Direct and coordinate two or more departments through subordinate department managers.
    • Review and evaluate overall performance of departments and establish long-term goals and objectives.
    • Review, evaluate, and approve training and development objectives and programs.
