We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Office Assistant to join our team and support the effective and efficient operations of our HR department.

Position Overview
The HR / Office Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department while also assisting with general office coordination. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with people, managing multiple priorities, and supporting day-to-day HR and office functions. 

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Support 

  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including document collection and system updates 
  • Maintain and accurately update employee records and personnel files, including consistent data entry, while ensuring a high level of confidentiality 
  • Support benefits administration, timekeeping, and HR reporting as needed 
  • Schedule interviews, orientations, and HR-related meetings 
  • Respond to routine employee questions and route inquiries appropriately 
  • Assist with compliance-related documentation and audits 

Office & Administrative Support 

  • Serve as a first point of contact for visitors, phone calls, and general inquiries 
  • Support office events, meetings, and employee engagement activities 
  • Assist with mail distribution, filing, copying, and document preparation 
  • Oversee stocking, organization, and ordering of kitchen supplies 
  • Support CEO with travel planning and expense management 
  • Help maintain a professional, organized office environment 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 1–3 years of administrative, HR, or office support experience 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion 

Preferred

  • Experience with HRIS or payroll systems 
  • Knowledge of basic HR practices and employment regulations
