We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Office Assistant to join our team and support the effective and efficient operations of our HR department.
Position Overview
The HR / Office Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department while also assisting with general office coordination. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with people, managing multiple priorities, and supporting day-to-day HR and office functions.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Support
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including document collection and system updates
- Maintain and accurately update employee records and personnel files, including consistent data entry, while ensuring a high level of confidentiality
- Support benefits administration, timekeeping, and HR reporting as needed
- Schedule interviews, orientations, and HR-related meetings
- Respond to routine employee questions and route inquiries appropriately
- Assist with compliance-related documentation and audits
Office & Administrative Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for visitors, phone calls, and general inquiries
- Support office events, meetings, and employee engagement activities
- Assist with mail distribution, filing, copying, and document preparation
- Oversee stocking, organization, and ordering of kitchen supplies
- Support CEO with travel planning and expense management
- Help maintain a professional, organized office environment
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of administrative, HR, or office support experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems
- Knowledge of basic HR practices and employment regulations
