Job Requisition: Human Resources & Payroll Representative (Full-Time)
Job Title: Human Resources & Payroll Representative
Employment Type: Full-Time
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Executive Director
Location: Twin Falls
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary
The Human Resources & Payroll Representative is responsible for supporting daily HR operations and ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, and personnel matters, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Human Resources

Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain personnel files and HRIS records with accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR inquiries
Support recruitment activities including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee questions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Support audits, reports, and HR metrics as needed

Payroll

Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
Review and verify timekeeping records, PTO, and payroll adjustments
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and payroll regulations
Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefit contributions
Respond to employee payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies
Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits and reconciliations

Qualifications
Education & Experience

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources and payroll processing
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of payroll practices, wage and hour laws, and employment regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP)
Experience with multi-state payroll
Healthcare or multi-entity organization experience

Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
Standard office environment
