HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
EFFECTIVE: SEPTEMBER 1, 2026
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF HUMAN REOURCES
TERMS OF Full time, 12-month position
EMPLOYMENT:
SALARY: $85,000 - $105,000 depending on experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Knowledge of employment practices and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws preferred.
- Experience in a public school district preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and HR information systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, administrators, and the public.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may deem acceptable and appropriate
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Human Resources.
- Maintain confidential employee personnel files and Human Resources records in accordance with district policies and legal requirements.
- Coordinate, manage and oversee daily and permanent building substitutes.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting vacancies, communicating with candidates, and assisting with onboarding.
- Process employment-related documentation, including new hires, transfers, leaves of absence, column changes, resignations, and retirements.
- Coordinate and manage the teacher stipend process.
- Assist with employee certification, licensure, and compliance tracking.
- Maintain HR databases and generate reports as required.
- Coordinate office communications and maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
