Merrimack Manufacturing is a medical device manufacturer located in the Manchester Millyard. We are a growing manufacturing company that will play a crucial part in bringing innovative and life changing products to life.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Human Resources / Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle while supporting daily HR functions. This role partners with hiring managers to attract, screen, hire, and onboard qualified candidates while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The position also supports employee relations, HR administration, and employee engagement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions
  • Partner with managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements
  • Create and post job advertisements on recruiting platforms
  • Source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and recruiting outreach
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings
  • Prepare offer letters and assist with compensation recommendations
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities
  • Maintain applicant tracking system and recruitment records
  • Back up to HR admin for Onboarding and New Hire Orientation

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • 2–5 years of recruiting and/or HR experience preferred
  • Experience recruiting in manufacturing, medical device, or technical environments preferred
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
