CentiMark Corporation is hiring an experienced Human Resources Representative, with a focus on Employee Relations & Training. The position will be based out of our Corporate Office in Canonsburg, PA! 

CentiMark Corporation, the National Leader in Commercial & Industrial Roofing, is seeking a dynamic, empathetic, and detail-oriented HR Representative to join our team. In this role, your primary mission will be to foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment. You will serve as the go-to resource for Employee Relations (ER) and the delivery of impactful HR Training programs.

The ideal candidate balances a deep understanding of employment law and conflict resolution with a passion for employee development and public speaking.
 

Job Summary

  • Conflict Resolution: Serve as a trusted sounding board and mediator for employee concerns, management challenges, and workplace disputes.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough, objective, and timely investigations into workplace complaints, policy violations, or grievances. Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Policy Guidance: Interpret and advise employees and managers on company policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure fair and consistent application.
  • Performance Management: Partner with managers on performance improvement plans (PIPs), disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring all processes are compassionate and legally compliant.
  • Training : Design, develop, and deliver high-energy, impactful training both in-person and virtually to employees and management.  
  • Other Duties:  Will perform other duties as assigned and/or requested.


Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with a heavy emphasis on handling complex employee relations issues and delivering presentations/training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Exceptional active listening, verbal, and written communication skills. You must be able to convey difficult information with empathy and clarity
  • Proven ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills with a knack for navigating "grey areas" in human behavior and workplace dynamics
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing
  • Position requires the ability to travel, as needed
  • Schedule flexibility is a must; weekends and after hours, as required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software programs, email and intranet usage
 


Preferred:

  • Bilingual language (Spanish/English)
  • Prior construction industry knowledge and/or experience
  • HR Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
  • Experience utilizing modern HRIS platforms
