HireLevel is looking for an Accounting & Human ResourceRep in Marion, IL.
Our Client is a state-of-the art retina care division focused solely on the care of retinal disease. They first opened their doors in 1974, they’ve grown into a multi-specialty ophthalmological practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical and optical services to the communities of southern Illinois and southeast Missouri. The ideal candidate will have great customer service experience and have an understanding that each patient should be treated like family.
Job Category: Full-Time:
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Compensation: $16

Responsibilities of Accounting & Human Resource:
- Process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify invoice approvals and coding before processing
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status
- Maintain organized electronic and paper accounts payable files
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current and avoid late fees
- Enter and maintain vendor records in the accounting system
- Assist with credit card reconciliations and expense reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements of Accounting & Human Resource:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience doing Accounts Payable or accounting preferred
- Accounting software knowledge such as Quickbooks
- Organization, attention to detail and time management skills are a must
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and management
- Must meet requirements for criminal background clearance and drug testing policies
