We're looking for an organized, service-oriented Human Resources Representative to join our HR team. In this role, you'll help create a positive employee experience by providing administrative support throughout the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding to benefits administration, employee records, and HR operations. If you enjoy building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and providing exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and HR requests.
  • Support the full recruitment process by assisting with posting jobs, scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens, and preparing employment offers.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure employees have the tools and resources they need to get started.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and process personnel changes in the HRIS/payroll system.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, Open Enrollment, and monthly invoice reconciliation.
  • Coordinate employee offboarding, including separation paperwork, exit interviews, and reporting.
  • Track required training, support workers' compensation administration, and assist with HR compliance activities.
  • Help plan and coordinate employee programs, events, and wellness initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects as needed.

Required Experience:

What You'll Bring:

  • Two (2) years of Human Resources experience, or a Human Resources certificate with at least two years of administrative experience.
  • Working knowledge of human resources practices, employment laws, and HRIS/applicant tracking systems; Paylocity experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hiring Range: $26.00-$28.00 per hour

This is a full-time non-exempt position based in the Balboa Park area of San Diego.
