Due to business expansion, our team is growing! We are looking for a detail oriented individual interested in Human Resources to join our team as our Human Resources Specialist!

Job Summary:

This position will assist the HR Manager and Chief Operating Officer with HR functions and processes. The candidate will also work autonomously to help manage employee benefits, companypolicies,employeerecords,newhireonboarding,workplaceinjury,unemployment,and protected leave.

EssentialFunctions:

·         Respond timely to notices from the Employment Security Department regarding employment separations and benefit charging notices; file required documentationwiththeEmploymentSecurityDepartmentregardingunemploymentclaims.

·         Represent Parker Corporate Services in unemployment hearings.

·         Prepare job offers for employees as requested by management; assist in new hire set up.

·         Reconcilebenefitinvoiceseachmonthtoensureaccuracy.

·         Review Modifications of Job Offers for accuracy; log and process MOJOs.

·         Initiateandtrackallleaverequests,suchasFMLA, WAPFML,MilitaryLeave,juryduty,etc.; ensure compliance with federal regulations.

·         CoordinatewithHRManagerandbenefitsbrokerforopenenrollment,yearlyrenewal,legal compliance, and plan participation.

·         Assist with benefits administration to include running monthly reports for eligibility offers, createworkeventstoenrolleligibleemployeesonADP,processbenefitwaivers,and benefits terminations for ACA compliance.

·         Reviewterminationpaperworktoensureaccuracy;processterminationsonADP; rescind terminations when requested by management.

·         AssistwithannualOSHA300ASummarypostingandreportingprocedurestoappropriate government agencies.

·         Assist in filing EEO-1 data annually.

·         ReviseorcreateHRformsperHRManagerinstructions.

·         StayuptodateontrendingHRpracticesandlegislationchanges.

·         PerformspecialprojectsasassignedbyHRManagerorCOO.

·         UpdateandmaintainHRproceduresasneeded.

·         Updateandmaintainemployeeconfidentialandpersonnelfiles.

·         Othertasksasassigned.


MinimumQualifications:

At least1year ofexperienceintheHR or administrative field. At least one year of experience in customer service.

Education:

HS Diploma/GED Equivalency required. Bachelor’sdegreeinhuman resources or related field preferred.

 

Certificates,Licenses,Registrations:

CertificateinHumanResources(SHRM-CP,PHR,etc.)preferred.

SpecialTraining/Skills:

Toperformthisjobsuccessfully,anindividualshouldhaveknowledgeinthefollowingareas:
