Job Summary

The Human Resources (HR) Specialist is responsible for supporting the HR Department by managing day-to-day administrative operations, coordinating recruiting and onboarding processes, processing time cards for payroll purposes as well as overseeing leave administration while maintaining accurate employee records. This role ensures smooth HR functions while protecting sensitive company and personnel information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Hiring:
  • Assist with creating requisitions and posting jobs to WLF careers site
  • Screening resumes/applications
  • Scheduling interviews and preparing candidate materials
  • Creating offers
  • Onboarding:
  • Coordinate the new-hire process, including administering background checks, processing employment paperwork, and conducting orientations
  • Records Management:
  • Maintain accurate, confidential physical and digital employee files, and update HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) databases
  • Payroll & Benefits:
  • Support payroll processing by tracking employee attendance, time off, and benefit enrollments
  • Employee Support:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, answering routine questions about company policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Translation as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
