Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join their team. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be part of the HR department supporting manufacturing sites in Calhoun and Rome, Georgia. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Human Resources Specialist
Location: Rome, GA
Pay Range: $31
Shift: 1st (9am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday)
What's the Job?
- Support the day-to-day delivery of HR processes across manufacturing sites, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies
- Maintain HR data, reports, and metrics such as turnover, headcount, attendance, and hiring progress, and identify key trends
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and supervisors for HR-related questions and support employee relations activities
- Assist with investigations, documentation, and follow-up actions, escalating complex issues appropriately
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 0 or more years of HR experience, including internships or co-ops
- Strong interest in developing into an HR Business Partner role
- Ability to build relationships with frontline employees and leaders in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
