The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support to the human resource department and other related services as assigned.
Responsibilities
HR Division Support
Maintain and scans department files
Order department supplies and ensures area is stocked appropriately
Assist employees in policy and procedure interpretation
Serve as a positive role model in representing the HR department & UC Health's PRIIDE Core Values, policies, and procedures
Takes the initiative in identifying & facilitating the resolution of employee requests through research, communication & cooperation w/internal & external personnel.
Attends weekly department meetings/huddles & periodically committee meetings.
Process union(s) dues to payroll.
Review and distribute monthly reports to the Union(s) and Labor Relations.
AMP Tracer file review.
Conduct exit interviews.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
Assist applicants with the electronic application.
Adhere to Joint Commission requirements and assists in survey preparation and activities. Field questions including but not limited to: benefits, employee parking, Staff Development and Education requirements, ePayroll, email access, dress code policy, referral bonus program.
Work with Parking and Access Control and/or Public Safety to coordinate badges/parking.

Answer routine benefit questions for employees and managers
Generally understands UC Health pay practices.
Recognition, events, special services
Participate in the planning and staffing of programs and events; recognition, open enrollment, employee engagement.
May pull data or run reports to support various HR initiatives
