Job Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department while helping create an exceptional team member experience. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, benefits administration, team member engagement, compliance, and HR administration, serving as a trusted resource for team members and leaders across the property.

 

What You'll Do

  • Support full-cycle recruitment, including posting positions, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Coordinate new team member onboarding and orientation to create an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Maintain team member records, HRIS data, and employment documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with payroll administration, benefits, employment changes, and HR reporting.
  • Coordinate team member recognition programs, engagement events, training, and internal communications.
  • Support leave administration, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws.
  • Partner with department leaders, Corporate Human Resources, local schools, community organizations, and hospitality partners to support recruiting initiatives, career fairs, internship programs, hiring events, and workforce planning efforts.

Skills

  • Two or more years of Human Resources or administrative experience, preferably in hospitality or a customer-focused environment.
  • Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.
