HVAC Apprentice Installer

HVAC Apprentice Installer | $17.00 to $25.00 per hour DOE

Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm | Monday to Friday

Position Overview:

• This is a hands-on paid training position to build a career in the HVAC industry
• Install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards
• Residential Retrofit / change out installs
• Installing refrigerant pipe, gas and electric furnace, heat pumps, duct work etc.
• Troubleshooting installs
• Customer service
• Receiving hand-on field experience and training
• Trane factory authorized dealer & NATE training

Qualifications:

• 6 months of HVAC installation experience or combination of education and experience - Desired
• Customer service experience
• Must be able to take direction from Lead workers and Supervisors
• Ability to complete mathematical calculations correctly
• Ability to follow directions given, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to cut and drill holes as needed
• Ability to insulate ductwork per code
• Ability to build platforms per code
• Ability to comply with ALL SAFETY RULES
• Ability to carry 100lbs overhead with assistance
• Well organized and ability to work independently
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
