Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated HVAC Apprentice Technician to join our Maui, team. This entry-level role is ideal for those eager to learn and grow in the HVAC industry. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you’ll gain hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems (e.g., air conditioners, heat pumps).
  • Perform basic diagnostics, such as checking pressures and temperatures, under supervision.
  • Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in an organized manner.
  • Follow safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Provide professional customer service on-site.
  • Document work and participate in training programs.
Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn HVAC skills.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various conditions (e.g., heat, confined spaces).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
  • EPA Section 608 certification is a plus (resources provided).
  • Prior HVAC experience is a plus but not required.
