HVAC Assembler

Diversified is seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician in Waxahachie.

Schedule: 6am- 4pm Mon-Thursday

Pay: $18-$22/hr

Job Summary

Maintains, and repairs commercial cooling systems like freezers, refrigerators, and ice machines. They diagnose electrical/mechanical faults, replace components, handle refrigerants, and ensure compliance with safety standards,technical training, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair refrigeration systems, including compressors, motors, and cooling units.
Installation: Install new systems, including setting up Brazing, piping, electrical wiring, and components.
Preventative Service: Perform routine maintenance (cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels) to ensure efficiency.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to EPA regulations for handling/recovering refrigerants and follow OSHA safety standards.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, and parts used.
Customer Service: Communicate with clients regarding repair needs and system operations.

Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of an HVAC/R training program is generally preferred.
Certification: EPA Section 608 Certification is typically required to handle refrigerants.
Experience: Previous experience in HVAC or commercial refrigeration service.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and using diagnostic tools (gauges, meters).
Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and work in varied temperatures.
