HVAC Commercial EstimatorPay: $95,000 - $110,000 Base Salary, depending on experience + performance bonusesWork Schedule: Full Time | Monday through Friday Emerald Aire Inc | Auburn WAWe are a collaborative commercial HVAC contractor focused on delivering both design-build and plan-and-specification projects. As we continue to grow throughout the Puget Sound area, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial HVAC Estimator to develop strong relationships with General Contractors, identify new project opportunities, and contribute to our ongoing success.Our Benefits: Car allowanceCompany cell phone & laptopHealth, dental and vision insuranceFully funded HSA employer contribution (100% covered for the employee only)Family/dependent coverage available3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for vacation and sick time7 paid holidays per year401K plan and profit sharing: Employer contributes up to 10% of your annual Income with a safe harbor of 3%Short-term disability coverageCompany provided Life insurance policy of $20,000.00What You Will Be Doing: Develop and strengthen partnerships with commercial general contractors to support long-term business growthRepresent the company at pre-bid conferences, networking opportunities, and industry events to expand client relationshipsProspect for new business opportunities and contribute to winning commercial construction projectsAnalyze construction drawings, specifications, and design-build documents to develop complete project estimatesProduce comprehensive, accurate, and competitive bid proposals for prospective projectsCreate detailed cost estimates, project budgets, and supporting pricing documentationWork closely with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain and verify material and equipment pricingEvaluate project scope for potential risks, omissions, and value engineering solutions that enhance project successCollaborate with engineering and project management teams during preconstruction planning and estimating activitiesFacilitate an effective transition from the estimating phase to project execution by coordinating with operations teamsMaintain consistent communication with general contractor partners from initial bidding through project completionWhat We Are Looking For: At least five years of experience preparing estimates for commercial HVAC projectsBackground in sales, client development, or maintaining customer relationships is beneficialIn-depth understanding of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems, along with relevant industry codes and standardsExperience coordinating with commercial general contractors on construction projectsSkilled at reviewing and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and technical specificationsFamiliarity with construction schedules, project phases, and overall jobsite operationsStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and project teamsExcellent organizational skills, capable of balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office applications and industry-standard estimating softwareCandidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
