HVAC Construction Manager

AMS Mechanical Services of Indianapolis LLC. is currently looking to add a Commercial/Industrial HVAC Construction Manager to our growing construction team. This is a full-time position between the office and various jobsites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the control and management of multiple projects at any given time (multitasking) and is primarily responsible for the safe, timely and profitable completion of those projects.

Responsibilities:

· Lead, manage and train a team of construction personnel

· The development and implementation of project plans that result in the completion of projects at or below cost targets while meeting or exceeding goals for safety, completion time and customer satisfaction.

· Estimating, planning, negotiating and project management skills.

· Identification and selection of sub-contractors.

· Obtain quotes for project materials and equipment.

· Manpower planning, scheduling and training to assure adequate availability of skilled labor to complete major projects within committed time frames.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong communication, writing and customer service skills.

· Must be able to work in the field along with the rest of the team.

· Estimating, planning, negotiating and project management skills.

· Must be able to read blue prints and interpret plans and specifications.

· Must be knowledgeable in construction codes, labor law, construction law and OSHA requirements.

· 10 years in a construction environment with at least 5 years of supervisory experience, or

a two or four year technical degree with at least 5 years of experience in construction environment, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

· Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn various construction software.

· Must have a valid driver’s license.
