Position Summary

Allied Supply Company is seeking a motivated and customer-focused HVAC Counter Sales Specialist to join our Cincinnati team. This role supports customers by processing orders, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, solving problems, and learning technical products in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, by phone, and through email
• Process sales orders, quotes, returns, and inquiries accurately
• Recommend products based on customer needs and applications
• Support customers with product information and order status updates
• Follow up on quotes and open orders
• Coordinate with vendors, warehouse personnel, and other departments to ensure timely fulfillment
• Support inventory activities, including receiving, stocking, and order pulling as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales counter area
• Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, wholesale distribution, or a related field preferred
• Experience working with contractors, maintenance professionals, or trade customers is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn business software systems
