Mendota, IL
$18.00 - $40.00/hour (based on experience)
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Must be available for occasional weekends and 10-12 hour shifts as needed.

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading HVAC company in Mendota, IL, to hire an HVAC Electrical Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with HVAC electrical, controls, wiring, troubleshooting, or maintenance experience who are looking to build a long-term career with a reputable and growing company.
Key Responsibilities- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components within HVAC systems
- Diagnose issues with motors, relays, contactors, transformers, thermostats, and control boards
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Install and wire HVAC equipment, controls, and low-voltage systems
- Perform electrical testing to ensure proper system operation and safety
- Troubleshoot control systems and electrical failures in residential and commercial HVAC equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on HVAC electrical systems
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
- Accurately document repairs, maintenance, and service work performed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment
- Previous HVAC electrical, electrical maintenance, or HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of HVAC controls, thermostats, sensors, and low-voltage systems
- Experience using electrical testing equipment, meters, and diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
