Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Proposal Analysis: Understand the full scope of work to bid, preparing estimates by thoroughly analyzing proposals, requirements, blueprints, specifications, and related documents for product manufacturing.
Detailed Estimate & Purchase Order Preparation: Assist in preparing accurate and detailed estimates and purchase orders for all products.
Timely & Accurate Pricing Presentation: Ensure the timely completion of estimates and pricing. Present prepared estimates or prices by assembling and clearly displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Discrepancy Resolution: Assist in promptly resolving discrepancies by collecting and analyzing relevant information.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong working relationships and effective communication channels with customers, the sales team, office personnel, the production manager, and supporting staff/supervisors.
Technical Knowledge Advancement: Continuously maintain and enhance technical knowledge by actively attending or participating in educational workshops, webinars, and other professional development opportunities.
Office Support & Customer Interaction: Assist with normal office duties and communicate directly with customers to accurately determine their product needs.
Safety & Compliance: Consistently comply with all Company safety practices and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience as an installer, designer, or estimator is highly preferred with a minimum of 2+ years current and relevant experience.
Estimation Expertise: Proven ability to develop professional cost estimates and specialized pricing by analyzing proposals, requirements, and product drawings.
Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of HVAC and roofing fabrication is preferred.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Acumen: Strong analytical and mathematical skills, coupled with impeccable problem-solving abilities.
Operational Efficiency: Ability to multitask effectively, meet strict deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with internal teams and customers.
Safety Mindset: Adherence to all company safety practices and procedures.
The compensation for this position is expected to be a range of $60,000 - $90,000 annually. This is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
