HVAC Facilities Maintenance

Job Title :HVAC Facilities Maintenance 
Location: Waterloo, IA - 50704
Duration : 24 Months
Shift: 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) with the occasional need to work until 5 pm a couple times a month.

Introduction

This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide engineering and project management services for the implementation of changes to manufacturing facilities. The role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of facility infrastructure and production equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in project management
• Cross competency experience with either Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Supervision, and/or Maintenance Engineering
• Experience in coordinating multiple skilled trades and contractors to achieve project objectives (5 years)
• Background in building infrastructure systems (mechanical, electrical, structural) (3 years)
• Understanding of engineering principles as related to manufacturing operations (3 years)
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple active projects simultaneously
• Ability to work with personnel and middle management to communicate and coordinate project activities
• Knowledge of OSHA Safety standards
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Emergency Notification Systems (ENS)
• Knowledge of FM Global Insurance coordination
• Experience with I.T. & network project coordination

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and manage multi-discipline facilities and maintenance-based projects
• Conduct hot work requests and red tag reviews
• Provide engineering design for facility infrastructure and production equipment
• Manage projects related to facility infrastructure and production machines
• Troubleshoot facility infrastructure and production equipment
• Conduct life, safety, and building code analysis
• Work with non-mobile material handling equipment application, engineering, and installation
• Research market for qualified suppliers of materials and services
