HVAC HELPER

Holbrook Heating Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated HVAC Helper to join our Albany installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in the HVAC industry.

The HVAC Helper will work alongside experienced installers, assisting with residential and light commercial HVAC installations. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related HVAC equipment
• Load, unload, carry, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
• Prepare work areas and assist installers throughout each job
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
• Follow instructions from lead installers and supervisors
• Protect customers’ homes and property while performing work
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

 

Qualifications

• HVAC or construction experience is helpful but not required
• Willingness to learn the HVAC trade
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation to the Albany office
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

 

Schedule and Pay

• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday
• Competitive wages: $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience
