HVAC Helper
Location: Des Moines, IA
Pay: $23.60 per hour
What you will be doing:
Assist in the maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, replacing belts and proper lubrication.
Assist with repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to fan coils, water source heat pumps, applied air handling units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and condenser tubes.
Assist with rebuilds HVAC & applied equipment.
Receive detailed direction while sharing the hands-on task responsibilities with Technicians II, III, and IV.
Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, verbal, and written communication.
Interact with customer by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call. Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audience.
Basic data entry and ability to navigate a computer or smart phone for use of email, internet, Microsoft applications and other tools as required.
Wear company uniform and required safety PPE, perform job hazard analysis.
Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld.
