Vogel Heating & Cooling, a respected and locally owned and family-operated HVAC company, is looking to add an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role you will play a key role in driving revenue growth with our Light Commercial Sales Team by supporting our Outside Sales and Project Management teams sales efforts, managing customer inquiries, preparing accurate and complete bids, and ensuring timely and accurate equipment order fulfillment. Future growth opportunities could include promotions to either Outside Sales or Project Management.If you are looking for a company that takes pride in its work and a role where you can take ownership of the outcome, we would like to hear from you.What we have to offerCompetitive Compensation starting at $65,000 and up depending on experienceComprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) (Vogel covers 100% of the base medical and dental plan for employees)Paid vacation, holidays, and sick timeOngoing product and cross‑trainingA well‑established brand with a loyal customer baseWhat you will doRespond promptly and accurately to inbound sales inquiries via telephone, email, and other avenues.Provide correct product information, technical guidance, and pricing for light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories.Prepare and deliver correct and prompt bids, quotes, and project submittals based on the submitted project scope.Partner with internal and external partners to gather pricing, materials, equipment, and develop project timelines and delivery schedules.Track project timelines, order status, and lead times, and provide regular updates for assigned projects.Keep and maintain accurate and complete records in CRM and ERP systems, and other project tracking documents or software.Develop and strengthen vendor partnerships to secure preferred pricing and reliable equipment availability.Keep abreast of product updates, competitor offerings, industry trends and other market indicators.What we are looking forA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engining Technology, HVAC, Construction Management or a related technical field; or 5 years' experience performing in a similar capacity.3 plus years' experience supporting outside sales efforts in preparing, bids, quotes or take-offs; managing customer inquiries; and ensuring correct and prompt order fulfillment.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and applications, with a desire for continual learning.Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawing, schematics and/or specifications.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP Platform'sStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.Coachable, adaptable, collaborative and willing to learn.Interest in long-term growth in Project Management or Sales.Work Environment / LocationThis is an in-office / on-site role based in Fenton, Missouri, with potential local travel to project sites, job walks, and customer or project meetings across the Greater St. Louis market.
